Honor adds new AI industry department, and key positions in China are recruited through competition

On May 13, we exclusively learned from an insider that Honor has recently completed the deployment of personnel for key positions in the China region, involving 38 key position supervisors in China, using the method of "re-competition for the position". This personnel adjustment plan, known internally as the "Eagle Plan", is aimed at all Honor employees at home and abroad. The above-mentioned insider revealed that the competition has been completed, of which 45% of the position heads have been adjusted, and the proportion of those born after 1990 has reached 24%. In addition, the reporter learned that Honor has added a new AI industry department and set AI-related R&D work as a first-level R&D department. Two months ago, Honor announced that it would invest more than US$10 billion in the construction of an AI terminal ecosystem in the next five years.
