At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index closed down 0.58%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index closed down 1.19%. The Hong Kong Stock Technology ETF (159751) closed down 0.19%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) closed up 0.31%. Pharmaceutical stocks fell the most, with WuXi AppTec falling more than 10% and WuXi Biologics falling more than 9%; ZTE and Sunac China rose more than 5%.
