At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index closed down 13.22% and fell below the 20,000-point mark, and the Hang Seng Technology Index closed down 17.16%. Technology stocks fell across the board, with Lenovo Group, BYD Electronics, Sunny Optical Technology, and Xiaomi Group falling by more than 20%.
