At the Davos Forum this week, Pan Jian, co-chairman of CATL, said the company expects to cooperate with another European automaker to open a new battery factory, which will be CATL's fourth battery factory in Europe. It is understood that the first factory in Germany has a planned production capacity of 14GWh. The factory in Hungary has a planned annual production capacity of up to 100GWh, and facilities are currently being installed, and it is expected to be put into production in the second half of 2025.
