At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index closed up 2.84%, the Tech Index closed up 4.02%, chip stocks, jewelry stocks, and technology stocks rose. Chow Tai Fook (01929.HK) rose more than 11%, Meituan (03690.HK) rose 6.4%, and SMIC (00981.HK) rose 6.6%.
