Asian Tech Press (Jan 14) -- Mark Zuckerberg's Meta Platforms is reportedly facing a £2.3 billion ($3.2 billion) class action lawsuit in the UK over its market dominance.
Facebook parent company Meta is being sued for 2.3 billion pound ($3.2 billion) in a class action lawsuit in the U.K. over allegations that it abused its market dominance by exploiting the personal data of 44 million users, the Guardian reported Friday.
The report said Meta makes 98% of its revenue globally from advertisers who are able to target specific demographics and consumers because the company has "built up profiles of its users through their online activity."
