Asian Tech Press (Jan 14) -- Tesla Inc's official website shows that the electric vehicle maker has been accepting dogecoin as payment for some branded products in its U.S. online shop.
It shows that Tesla's limited-edition Cyberwhistle only accepts dogcoin as a payment option. And now the branded product has been out of stock.
On Dec. 14, 2021, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted, "Tesla will make some merch buyable with Doge & see how it goes."
The limited-edition Cyberwhistle is understood to be inspired by Tesla's much-awaited electric truck Cybertruck and is made from medical-grade stainless steel with a polished finish.
