The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed that the international standard "Scenario Evaluation and Test Case Generation for Road Vehicle Automated Driving System Test Scenarios" led by my country was officially released a few days ago. The standard released this time mainly stipulates the evaluation process and test methods of automated driving system test scenarios, clarifies the determination requirements of evaluation indicators such as test scenario exposure rate, complexity, and danger, and defines the general method and necessary characteristics of test case generation. The reporter learned that the test scenario is the basis for evaluating the functions and performance of the automated driving system, and is the core element supporting the application of "multi-pillar" automated driving safety verification methods such as simulation and closed field testing. The diversity, coverage, and typicality of the test scenario directly affect the validity and reliability of the test results. A relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that the release and implementation of this standard reflects the important consensus reached globally on automated driving test verification technology, provides basic standards for the simulation development and test evaluation of automated driving systems, and effectively meets the urgent needs of automated driving system safety evaluation and test verification. It is reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will organize China Automotive Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. and other units to deeply participate in the formulation and revision of international standards in the automotive field, and continuously improve my country's participation and contribution in the coordination of international automotive standards and regulations.
