Asia Tech Wire (Oct 11) -- Matt Brittin, Google's head of EMEA, announced in a LinkedIn post on Thursday that he is leaving the company.
Brittin said he will continue to be responsible for Google's business in EMEA until the company identifies a successor.
Brittin joined Google in 2007 as head of operations in the U.K. and Ireland, then rose to become vice president in charge of Northern and Central Europe.
In 2014, Brittin became president of Google EMEA.
