Asian Tech Press (Dec 22) -- Chengdu, the capital of southwestern China's Sichuan province, will build a metaverse center on Jiaozi Avenue to create an urban industry metaverse.

A conference of the metaverse urban industry alliance for Chengdu city was held on Saturday, with the participation of alliance members, heads of famous metaverse brands, scholars and experts in the field of science and technology.

Dongliang Zhang, chairman of AI firm Towards Intelligence and founder of the metaverse brand HOLO, revealed that the meta-universe center will be built on Jiaozi Avenue in Chengdu, starting from the Avenue, radiating from the Tianfu Twin Towers, the "Jiaozi Ring" and all the surrounding 5 square kilometers of businesses as a basis, combined with the excellent location of the Jiaozi Business District at the "Chengdu High-tech CBD".

Based on the new cultural tone of Chengdu's technology and trend, the center will create a new diversified technology, cultural and trendy meta-universe living and consumption scene matrix on Jiaozi Avenue, Zhang added, starting from the entertainment, commercial, social, office, education, real estate and so on.
