Asia Tech Wire (Nov 5) -- TikTok's parent company ByteDance realized revenue of about $73 billion in the first half of this year, according to The Information.

The report said that the revenue came mainly from the advertising and e-commerce business of Chinese apps such as Douyin and Toutiao, which grew by more than 35%.

Notably, ByteDance recorded international revenue growth of more than 60% to about $17 billion in the first six months of the year.
