On Wednesday, Chinese automaker BYD Co Ltd (BYDDF: OTC US) officially delivered its 1,000,000th new energy vehicle, Han EV, to Mario Ho, son of tycoon Dr. Stanley Ho, at its Shenzhen factory.
On May 19, 2021, BYD formally held the ceremony titled “Thanks For Your Support From 1 to 1,000,000 And Beyond: Celebrating The Building Of BYD's One-Millionth New Energy Passenger Vehicle" at its Shenzhen factory, and Mr. Mario Ho, became the owner of the 1,000,000th new energy passenger car.
At the ceremony, Wang Chuanfu, founder of BYD Company, officially delivered the 1 millionth new energy vehicle Han EV to Mario Ho, a move marking BYD as the first car maker in China and the third one in the world after Tesla and Toyota to sell more than one million new energy vehicles.
