Xiaomi 5G phones surpass Apple, Samsung in Eastern Europe market share

Asian Tech Press (OCT 07) -- According to market research firm Strategy Analytics, Xiaomi's 5G smartphone shipment share in Central and Eastern Europe reached 42% in the third quarter of this year, surpassing Apple and Samsung to become the No. 1 5G phone in the region. Xiaomi became the largest smartphone supplier in Europe for the first time in the second quarter of this year, with a 25.3% market share and a record 12.7 million shipments.
