TSMC posts record revenue of $15.8 billion for December, up 32.4% YoY

Asian Tech Press (Jan 10) -- The world's largest chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) posted on Monday a record revenue of about NT$155.38 billion ($5.62 billion) for December 2021, up 32.4% year-over-year.

Based on the December revenue report, TSMC's cumulative revenue from January to December 2021 was approximately NT$1,587.41 billion, an increase of 18.5% over the same period last year.

TSMC not only gained a cracking monthly revenue due to the dramatic increase in chip demand, but was also voted No. 1 by ATP in the overall ranking list of Asian technology companies in 2021.
