TSMC: 4nm to become a mainstream technology in 2023

TSMC's advanced technology business development director Lipen Yuan said that due to cost considerations, adopting the most advanced process technology for low-end cell phones and consumer electronics products will be slightly delayed.

At present, the majority uses 16/12nm and is moving towards 6nm. It is expected that by 2023 the mainstream technology for these products will be 4nm. (Economic Daily News)
