LG Energy Solution plans to build a joint battery plant with Honda in the U.S.

Asian Tech Press (Jan 14) -- DIGITMES reports that local Korean battery maker LG Energy Solution plans to build a battery plant for electric vehicles in the U.S. in a strategic alliance with Japan's Honda Motor, with a maximum investment of 4 trillion won (about $3.36 billion) and an annual production capacity of 40 GWh.
