Asia Tech Wire (June 25) -- Apple supplier Wistron Corp. will reportedly invest $24.5 million to build a new factory in Vietnam.
Wistron wil build the new factory in Vietnam's northern province of Ha Nam, Theinvestor reported Monday, citing documents announced by Vietnam's Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
The company aims to complete the administrative procedures in October, install machinery and equipment in November, and then officially start production, the report noted.
And the new factory will have an annual capacity of 3 million LCD panels, 198,000 firewall devices, 1.03 million docking stations and 35,000 webcams.
