Asian Tech Press (Nov 10) -- About 800,000 brands and merchants from all over the world are expected to participate in this year's Singles Day on Lazada, Alibaba's e-commerce marketplace in Southeast Asia.
Lazada Group COO Raymond Yang revealed on Wednesday that, about 800,000 brands and merchants from around the world are expected to participate in this year's Singles Day on its e-commerce platform.
Lazada is a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and was established in 2012. And Chinese tech giant Alibaba acquired control of it in 2016.
The latest data shows that Lazada has more than 110 million annual active consumers in six countries in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
