Xiaomi's first large inference model is open source with 7B parameters and a scale capability that exceeds OpenAI o1-mini

Today, Xiaomi open-sourced its first large model for reasoning, "Xiaomi MiMo", which links pre-training to post-training to comprehensively improve reasoning capabilities. In the public evaluation sets of mathematical reasoning (AIME 24-25) and code competition (LiveCodeBench v5), MiMo surpassed OpenAI's closed-source reasoning model o1-mini and Ali Qwen's larger open-source reasoning model QwQ-32B-Preview with only 7B parameters.
