Xiaomi introduces "smart home" business model to Japan, plans to open 5 to 10 "Mi Homes" by 2025

Zheng Yan, vice president of Xiaomi Japan Legal, revealed that Xiaomi plans to introduce the "smart home" business model that combines smartphones and home appliances launched in China to Japan, and will open physical stores selling smartphones and home appliances in Japan. It plans to open 5 to 10 stores in 2025, and also consider selling large home appliances such as air conditioners.
