WeRide, Chery and Jinjiang Taxi were approved for L4 intelligent connected car unmanned driving demonstration application license

On July 25, at the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2025) held in Shanghai, Shanghai officially issued a new batch of intelligent connected vehicle demonstration operation licenses. Autonomous driving technology company WeRide, together with Chery Automobile and Jinjiang Taxi, successfully obtained approval to carry out autonomous driving demonstration application services based on regulations in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. This also marks that WeRide Robotaxi has officially opened its 10th city in the world.
