The world cultural heritage Mogao Grottoes ushered in the summer tourist peak season, with the number of booked tourists increasing significantly compared with the same period in 2024. The Dunhuang Research Institute launched the emergency visiting mode in advance and introduced a series of service measures to meet the tourists' visiting needs. In addition to the must-see routes of watching digital movies and visiting physical caves in the cave area, the Mogao Grottoes Scenic Area further enriches the cultural and tourism experience. In the "Searching for Dunhuang" digital exhibition hall, visitors can put on VR glasses and immerse themselves in Cave 285 of the Mogao Grottoes, exploring the details of the cave in 360 degrees. At the Dunhuang Grottoes Cultural Relics Protection Research and Exhibition Center, eight 1:1 replica caves can satisfy tourists who have not seen enough of the physical caves.
