At the close of the U.S. stock market, the three major indexes closed up collectively, with the Nasdaq up 0.74% and the S&P 500 up 0.54%, both hitting new closing highs; the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5%. Most large technology stocks rose, with Microsoft and Nvidia up about 1%. Most popular Chinese stocks rose, with the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closing up 1.23%. JD.com rose more than 3%, Pinduoduo rose more than 2%, and Xpeng Motors, Baidu, Bilibili, and Alibaba rose more than 1%.
