At the close of the U.S. stock market, the three major indexes closed up collectively, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.53%, the Nasdaq up 0.25% and a new closing high, and the S&P 500 up 0.32%. Chip stocks fell, with ASML falling more than 8%. Most of the popular Chinese stocks fell, with the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closing down 1.41%. Baidu fell more than 7%, JD.com and Alibaba fell more than 1%, and Bilibili rose more than 1%.
