U.S. chip stocks rose before the market opened, with Nvidia up 0.6% after CEO Jensen Huang launched the latest GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs and other new products at the CES. TSMC rose 0.5%, AMD rose 0.57%, and Broadcom rose 0.2%.
