On April 10, Trina Solar's National Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Science and Technology announced that its perovskite crystalline silicon stacking technology has broken records again. The 210mm large-area perovskite/crystalline silicon two-terminal stacked solar cell independently developed by the laboratory has been independently certified by the third-party testing laboratory (Fraunhofer ISE, CalLab) under the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy in Germany, and the highest cell efficiency has reached 31.1%. This has created a new world record for the efficiency of large-area stacked solar cells, and it is also the first time that a cell efficiency of more than 31% has been achieved in a 210mm industrial-grade cell size. This achievement marks a comprehensive breakthrough for Trina Solar in the field of perovskite crystalline silicon stacking technology from cell efficiency to module power.
