Samsung Electronics to hold global strategic meeting from June 17 to 19
Samsung Electronics will hold a high-level meeting from June 17 to 19 to discuss business strategies for the second half of the year, according to industry sources. Samsung holds two global strategy meetings a year, in June and December, chaired by the heads of each business unit. They review regional and business specific issues and discuss goals and sales strategies for the next year. This year's agenda is expected to include strategies to cope with rising global uncertainties, including the trade policy shift of the second-term administration of US President Trump. Participants will also assess the vulnerability of the supply chain and consider responses for specific regions.
