On September 5th, local time, Qualcomm announced the joint launch of Snapdragon Ride Pilot, a new autonomous driving system developed over three years in collaboration with the BMW Group. This autonomous driving system is based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride™ system-on-chip and features the jointly developed Snapdragon Ride autonomous driving software stack. Qualcomm stated that the system made its global debut on the all-new BMW iX3 on September 5th and has currently completed global certification in over 60 countries, with plans to expand to over 100 countries by 2026.
