Nokia signs multi-year patent license agreement with Samsung

Nokia announced Wednesday that it has signed a multi-year patent license agreement with Samsung regarding the use of Nokia's video technology in Samsung TVs.

Under the agreement, Samsung will pay royalties to Nokia.

Nokia said the new agreement is independent of the existing 5G patent license agreement between Nokia and Samsung.
