Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao met with Danish Foreign Minister Anders Rasmussen. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on China-Denmark and China-EU economic and trade relations and the maintenance of the multilateral trading system. Representatives of the Danish business community, including the Confederation of Danish Industries, Novo Nordisk and Carlsberg, attended the meeting. Wang Wentao said that China is determined to expand its opening up to the outside world, actively expand domestic demand, and is committed to creating a stable, transparent and predictable business environment. China is willing to work with Denmark and the EU to strengthen policy communication, deepen practical cooperation, and jointly maintain the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core, injecting more stability and positive energy into the world. Rasmussen expressed his willingness to further strengthen dialogue and exchanges with China and expand practical cooperation in trade, investment, green and other fields between the two countries. It is expected that the EU and China will properly resolve the electric vehicle case.
