Li Liyun of Xiaopeng Motors: AI cars are the first step towards concrete intelligence
On the afternoon of April 14, at the Xiaopeng AI sharing and exchange meeting, Li Liyun, head of Xiaopeng Motors' autonomous driving, said that the problem of autonomous driving is essentially a problem of "complex physical AI", and AI cars are the first step in figurative intelligence. Li Liyun said that autonomous driving not only needs to understand the world, but more importantly, it also needs to take action, including dynamic responses to acceleration and deceleration, accelerators and brakes, steering wheels, signal lights, and even more interactions between people, cars and the outside world in the future. In Li Liyun's view, the more important point is that autonomous driving is a product that needs to be mass-produced for users. It needs to meet consumers' requirements for functional experience and be safe and collision-free, so autonomous driving is a very difficult and very interesting embodied problem.
