LONGi Green Energy sued JinkoSolar for patent infringement in Shandong. It is understood that this time LONGi Green Energy sued JinkoSolar for patent infringement in the Intermediate People's Court of Jinan, Shandong, demanding that it immediately stop manufacturing, selling, and promising to sell the allegedly infringing products. The Intermediate People's Court of Jinan has accepted the lawsuit and is expected to open a trial on March 20. This is LONGi's counterclaim against JinkoSolar for patent infringement in China after the United States. In early January this year, JinkoSolar sued LONGi for patent infringement in Nanchang, Jiangxi. On January 21, LONGi countersued JinkoSolar in the United States for infringing TOPCon technology patents. On January 24, JinkoSolar sued LONGi's Japanese subsidiary for patent infringement in Tokyo, Japan. On February 4, JinkoSolar's Australian subsidiary sued LONGi Australia for patent infringement in the Federal Court of Australia. Sources revealed that the patents based on which JinkoSolar sued LONGi for patent infringement this time came from the purchase of multiple photovoltaic patent packages from South Korea's LG company.
