On April 18, Juneyao Airlines successfully launched its first direct flight from Shanghai Pudong to Kobe, Japan. This is the first time that Kobe Airport has opened international flights, and Juneyao Airlines is also one of the first Chinese airlines to open international routes to Kobe. The newly opened route uses Airbus A320 series aircraft, with one round-trip flight per day. The opening of this direct flight coincides with the grand opening of the 2025 Osaka Kansai World Expo, and the two-way business and tourism passenger flow demand between China and Japan has ushered in a high growth.
