Is the queue for Quark volunteering too long? Alibaba Vice President Wu Jia responded: We have urgently expanded computing power
On the afternoon of June 25, as the college entrance examination results were announced across the country, volunteer registration entered a peak period. Today, many users reported on social platforms that there were queues when using Quark to generate volunteer reports, and there were many queues of more than 10,000 people. In response, Wu Jia, vice president of Alibaba Group, posted on WeChat Moments that as of 15:15 that day, the Quark system had generated more than 3 million volunteer reports. The current queue situation was mainly due to the centralized release of scores in multiple provinces, and user demand was concentrated in a short period of time. He said that the team has urgently expanded computing power and made every effort to shorten the waiting time, striving to ensure that every candidate can successfully get a dedicated volunteer report. Wu Jia said: "This is not only a collective trust in Quark's seven years of college entrance examination technology accumulation, but also a responsibility that our team must go all out to take. We will respond to this trust with a better service experience." It is understood that Quark is currently the only AI application in China that can generate expert-level volunteer reports. Previously, Alibaba had pre-allocated 100 times more computing power resources than last year to support Quark, but when scores were released in major college entrance examination provinces such as Henan, Hubei, and Shandong, computing power was still tight.
