Industry insiders said that before JinkoSolar sued Longi Green Energy, the two sides had contact and negotiations, but JinkoSolar required that in addition to sharing the cost of purchasing LG patents, Longi Green Energy also required that all BC (back contact battery) technology patents be licensed to Jinko.
