BYD and DJI jointly held a press conference on the intelligent vehicle-mounted drone system in Shenzhen, and BYD Group Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu delivered a speech. At the conference, Wang Chuanfu announced that the intelligent vehicle-mounted drone system jointly developed by BYD and DJI was officially named "Lingyuan". Regarding the solution of drone technology, Wang Chuanfu said that BYD has been doing internal exploration and experimentation since 2016. Wang Chuanfu also mentioned that after BYD and DJI's dual technical tests and a series of safety certifications, "Lingyuan" has achieved mass production, which also makes BYD the world's first car company to mass-produce vehicle-mounted drones.
