At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index rose 0.83% and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 1.82%. The new energy vehicle sector led the gains, with Ideal Auto rising more than 5%; Xpeng Motors, NIO, and Lenovo Group rose more than 3%.
