Hong Kong Stocks Midday Review: Hang Seng Index rose 2.33% and Hang Seng Technology Index rose 3.17%

At the close of Hong Kong stocks at noon, the Hang Seng Index rose 2.33% and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 3.17%. Pharmaceutical stocks led the gains, with JD.com and WuXi AppTec rising more than 7%, Alibaba and Meituan rising more than 6%, and WuXi Biologics rising more than 5%.
