At the close of Hong Kong stocks at noon, the Hang Seng Index rose 1.62%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 2.30%. Weilai, NetEase, SMIC, and Alibaba rose more than 3%, and Tencent Holdings rose more than 2%.
