At the close of Hong Kong stocks at noon, the Hang Seng Index fell 1.55%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 0.96%. SMIC rose more than 7%, Xiaomi Group rose more than 2%; WuXi AppTec fell more than 4%.
