As of midday close, the Hang Seng Index rose 1.13% and the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 1.76%. In terms of individual stocks, NIO rose nearly 9%, Kuaishou and Baidu Group rose more than 4%, Tencent Holdings rose more than 3%, and Xpeng Motors and Meituan rose more than 2%.
