Focus Media: Plans to purchase 100% stake in Xinchao Media for RMB 8.3 billion

Focus Media announced that it plans to acquire 100% of Xinchao Media's equity from 50 counterparties, including Zhang Jixue, Chongqing JD.com, and Baidu Online, through a combination of share issuance and cash payment for 8.3 billion yuan. Upon completion of the transaction, Xinchao Media will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Media.
