Farfetch sells virtual try-on tech firm Wannaby to Taiwanese company

Perfect Corp., a unit of Taiwanese software company CyberLink Corp., announced Wednesday that the team has reached an agreement with global luxury fashion e-commerce platform Farfetch to acquire virtual try-on technology company Wannaby.

With this acquisition, Perfect Corp. will extend its AI and AR technologies to shoes, bags and more fashion items.

The acquisition is expected to close in the next few months, in line with customary closing conditions.
