From May 18 to 21, 2025, at the invitation of Christine Eelon, Minister of Higher Education and Science of Denmark, Yin Hejun, Minister of Science and Technology of China, led a delegation to visit Denmark. During the visit to Denmark, Yin Hejun met with Eelon, Minister of Higher Education and Science of Denmark, and had in-depth exchanges on deepening practical cooperation in scientific and technological innovation between China and Denmark; attended the opening ceremony of the "China-Denmark Green Innovation Day", a key event in the field of science and technology to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Denmark, and delivered a speech; and promoted the holding of the first China-Denmark Science and Technology Innovation Policy Dialogue. In addition, Yin Hejun also visited the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences, the Danish Academy of Engineering, the Novo Nordisk Foundation and other institutions, held discussions with Danish scientific and technological circles, and promoted scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation at all levels between China and Denmark.
