China's self-developed quantum computer "Benyuan Wukong" runs a billion-level AI fine-tuning large model for the first time in the world
The reporter learned from the Anhui Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center that Origin Quantum, Hefei National Science Center Artificial Intelligence Research Institute and other institutions jointly tackled the problem and ran the world's first billion-parameter AI large model fine-tuning task on China's third-generation autonomous superconducting quantum computer "Origin Wukong". Chen Zhaoyun, an associate researcher at the Hefei National Science Center Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, said: "This is the first 'real machine' large model task for quantum computing, proving that existing hardware can initially support large model fine-tuning."
