Constellation Energy Corp. is making faster-than-expected progress restarting its Three Mile Island nuclear power plant, and the company now says the Pennsylvania plant will begin generating electricity sooner than expected. The project could restart as early as 2027, the company said in a statement June 25. The initial forecast was for 2028. The early start is partly because the project was able to connect to the grid operated by PJM Interconnection LLC. sooner than expected.
