Beijing's driverless fleet expands again
On the evening of February 24, autonomous driving company WeRide said that the company's mass-produced Robotaxi GXR model has started purely unmanned large-scale commercial operation in Beijing. This year, WeRide's Robotaxi (autonomous driving "taxis") operations in Beijing will increase to hundreds. It is reported that WeRide's GXR model has been officially approved to carry out "no one in the car" autonomous driving travel fee service in Beijing, covering the core area of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, and can also travel from Beijing South Railway Station and Daxing International Airport from the Economic and Technological Development Zone. How to get a GXR? Users can directly search for the "WeRide Travel" App in major mobile app stores, download and register, and call a car with one click. The operating hours are from 7:30 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekends and holidays.
