Apple will not assemble iPhones in the U.S. anytime soon, or ask suppliers to cut prices
Mark Gurman, a technology journalist who focuses on Apple, wrote that under the latest tariff policy of the US authorities, Apple will still not move iPhone production to the US in the next few years, mainly because the cost is too high. Gurman also believes that Apple will negotiate with its supply chain to let these supply chain companies give Apple lower pricing; or further adjust the supply chain to disperse component suppliers/product assemblers around the world to cope with tariff challenges, so that Apple can still maintain profit margins under the latest tariff policy of the US authorities.
