Albanian President Begayi officially appointed Edi Rama as Prime Minister. Following Begayi's appointment, Rama's cabinet will establish a Ministry of State created and managed by the artificial intelligence system "Diella," with AI serving as minister. This marks the first time in Albania's history that an AI has headed a state-level ministry, responsible for public procurement. Following Rama's proposal, the president will issue decrees for each of the 16 ministers. Following a vote of confidence in Parliament, the government will be formally sworn in at a ceremony in the coming days.
