According to Diandian data, in May 2025, the estimated total downloads of AI APPs on Apple App Store and Google Play worldwide (including mainland China) reached 280 million times (excluding duplicate downloads), a decrease of 16.4% from April. Among them, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Doubao and PixVerse ranked in the TOP 5, accounting for 51% of the global market's dual-end AI application downloads. Specifically, the share of ChatGPT downloads has further increased, from 27% in April to 32% in May, and the share of downloads of the other four applications is not much different. Genius, which ranked fourth in April, fell out of the top five in May. Instead, PixVerse, which fell out of the list in April, ranked fifth in May, and Doubao moved up one place to fourth.
